We are pleased to announce the alpha level release of Techne CAD/CAM for testing.  Techne’s approach is to tightly integrate the CAM aspects during the design process.  Our emphasis is on ease of use instead of having 15 ways to layout a circle.  It supports gCode and ShopBot toolpath generation.

WARNING

This is an alpha release; it has known problems and is meant for testing purposes only.  All toolpaths should be previewed before running.  The file formats for storing design files and machine configurations have not been finalized.  Any projects created with this version may not work with future versions.
